The sterilizer is continously working with an internal steam exhaust filtration. So the unit is ready to use in biohazard environment with level P2 up to level P4. The steam exhaust filtration is constructed acc. to the german technical rules of biosafety (TRBA 100). It fullfills the requirements of 2000/54/EU of protection of workers being in contact with biohazardous materials. The steam exhaust filtration function is making sure the condensate inside the chamber and the filter element itself is sterilized in the end of each regular sterilization cycle. The sterilization of condensate and filterelement is controlled by temperature with temperature sensors and by a validated sterilization process. Over the standard life time cycle of the filter element it is safe against contamination through the filter up to 10 days after a sterilization finish.
