Gas and media inlet insert for desiccator lids, NS 24, GL 18
Attachment for standard desiccators for the introduction and controlled flow of gaseous or liquid media, as well as for connecting measuring and sensor equipment.
The insert is fitted into the existing NS 24 connection tube of a suitable desiccator lid. Gaseous or liquid media can be introduced into the desiccator via the permanently brazed inlet tube. A separate medium outlet allows for the controlled release or discharge of the medium.
The insert features:
- An inlet tube, permanently fused into the glass body, length approx. 50 mm from the top of the ground joint, with a 9 mm hose connector
- Media outlet with a 9 mm hose connector
- GL-18 threaded connection in an eccentric arrangement for connecting temperature sensors, probes or additional tubingup to10 mm
The insert enables the simple extension of a standard desiccator for applications in which gaseous or liquid media are to be introduced, channelled or discharged. The GL-18 connection also allows the attachment of suitable measuring sensors, probes or the connection of further hose lines.
