Safe-Cone filter for labopette® offer an added advantage in preventing contamination of both the pipettor and the sample, thus prolonging the service life of the pipettor. The filters protect exceptionally well the internal components of the pipettor but they need to be changed regularly. The use of filter tips to prevent cross contamination of sample fluids or vapours when pipetting radioactive, biohazardous or corrosive samples is an everyday practice. Safe-Cone filters act as an alternative barrier to provide added protection because the filter prevents liquids entering into the internal mechanism of the pipettor.
