| Gas Generators, LAT | ||||||||||
In many laboratories - and particularly in schools - specific gases are needed at short notice for testing and demonstrating chemical reactions. These gas generators were developed for the fast and simple production of gases – such as H2S, H2 and CO2 – that are often needed in the laboratory. Two sizes are available: 250 ml and 500 ml. The sizes of the reaction vessels match the capacities of the bottles. The polyethylene bottles are transparent. They include a simple valve system to guard against air ingress.
Operating mode: 1. In the screw lid of the polyethylene bottle is a glass reaction vessel to accommodate the solid material. 2. Acid in the right concentration is filled into the bottle up to a certain: level. 3. Gas develops immediately the polyethylene bottle is squeezed so that the acid rises and comes into contact with the substance in the reaction vessel. Gas will continue to flow through the outlet tube until the pressure on the bottle is reduced, allowing the acid to run back out of the reaction vessel. Gas generators, complete
