After the magnetic stirring bar is attached to the elastic clip of the rotor, it can be fixed at a variable height above the vessel base. If the rotor then is driven by the magnetic stirrer, it rotates in a controlled manner, protecting the stirred substance and the vessel. The holding rod is not rotating, the closure keeps gastight for a long time.
