General features:
Robust, scratch-resistant housing made by ourselves: "Quality made in Germany". The interior is made of impact-resistant synthetic with moulded supports (undercounter models) or smooth aluminium with a protective coating with height-adjustable support rails (for all stand-alone models of 280 l cooling volume and up). The insulation consists of premium-quality environmentally friendly material. The units have lockable doors with hinges that can be changed. The temperature regulation controlled by microprocessor allows for accurate temperature control with safety functions in case of fault. The control is protected with a key switch against manipulation and equipped with a digital display and a minimum/maximum temperature memory. Furthermore, KIRSCH refrigerators have an RS485 interface for automatic documentation of temperature and a floating contact for forwarding alarms (for connecting the GSM module). The KIRSCH forced-air cooling provides for even temperature distribution and thus for a uniform storage temperature in the entire refrigeration space. Forced-air cooling is optimized for every model and consists of an individually adjusted combination of blower and ventilation plate.

All LABEX® and FROSTER-LABEX® models are tested and certified in terms of quality and safety pursuant to the strict standards of TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH. Depending on the version, the refrigerators are labelled EX II 3 G T6 (LABEX® standard safety) or EX II 3 G Ex cic IIB T8 (LABEX® intrinsic safety). With all LABEX® and FROSTER-LABEX® models, the temperature sensors are specially protected by safety barriers.
